Ok here's the deal, I'm going to give away TWO FULL 12 CHIP SET of President Casino New Yorker chips, including BOTH $1000 43mm Chips! And 1 each of the PNY plaques designed and produced by BlondWidow and Harlequin!
In case anyone doesn't know what they look like, here they are again. You get TWO of each chips pictured below:

And one each of these two plaques!
In addition, since we've raised more than $500 so far, I'm adding the following items to the raffle:

The winner will get one of each of the chips pictured above. This is the complete uncirculated sample set for this never opened casino set (Notice the microdot on the $100 chip!)
ALSO, I'm going to give a 2nd place prize of a new setup of Modiano PokerClub Bridge Sized double deck in Jumbo Index (green/brown):

What's the catch you're asking? Well my best friend is going to be walking 60 miles over 3 days this November in Arizona to raise money for Breast Cancer research.
This will be her 3rd year doing so, which means she'll have walked 180 miles for the cause so far! To do this, she needs to raise a certain amount of money for the cause. If she doesn't raise enough, she needs to make up the difference out of her own pocket. Her own out of pocket expenses for travel, etc. also come out of her pocket and not from the donations. All money donated goes to the charity and is
TAX DEDUCTIBLE! I've already made a good sized donation to get the ball rolling for her, but she still needs to raise over $2500 as I write this.
So I'm helping her raise money for her walk and to do so I'm going to offer up some of my stuff to a lucky CT donor. I'm going to hold a lottery/raffle for these chips and if you would like a chance at them, you simply need to make a donation of at least $10 using the following link to her personal donation page on the charity website:
https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg...supid=75849754
You'll get the following number of entries into the drawing for the corresponding donation amount:
$10 - 1 entry
$25 - 3 entries
$100 - 15 entries
More than $100 - PM me.
If you donate at least $150, I'll include some kind of free gift along with entries to the drawing (e.g. chips or cards or something cool you'll like)
I'll assign your ticket number(s) starting with number 000 as soon as you PM me with your donation confirmation. In the PM include the donation amount and your name or some other way for me to confirm your donation. Numbers will be assigned chronologically
in the order I receive your PMs. I'll update the thread with a list of everyone's CT name and entry numbers once a day or so. I'll also keep a spreadsheet on my end, to keep track of everyone's entries.
Since I want to make sure we raise some serious funds, I'm going to let this run until Wednesday February 28, 2007 at 3:59pm Eastern time.
Winning number will be based on the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing quote for that day. The last 3 digits will be used as the winning number, so if the closing quote is 12345.67, the winning number is 567. If there are less than 101 entries, then the first number will be considered a 0, and in this example the winner would be 67. If there are more than 100 entries, then the winning number will be determined as follows: If the first digit is odd, then it is considered a 1, if it is even, it is considered a 0. So in the example above, the winning number would be 167. If the winning number doesn't correspond to someone's ticket number, then we'll use the next day's closing quote and so on until we have a winner.
None of the funds raised goes to me or my friend, it all goes to the charity. Donations are handled by the charity itself and are
Tax Deductible. The website uses SSL encryption and all transactions are safe & secure. If you use your AMEX card to make your donation, AMEX will make some kind of matching donation as well. (not sure how much, but that's what AMEX says)
NOTE: If we get over $500 worth of donations from CTer's, I'll add more prizes to the drawing either as extra stuff for the winner or maybe as a second prize or perhaps both. I'll update the thread as necessary if/when that happens. If we get over 200 tickets, I'll post a new formula for figuring out the winning number. Its based on the same method HPT uses for their giveaways if you're familiar with theirs. Any other questions, feel free to post here in the thread.
If it goes well, I may do this again as we have until mid October to get all of her funds raised.

Thanks in advance to everyone who participates!
