Washing racks

Since there isn't a section for "Rack Care" I posted this here to start.

Has anyone tried putting their chip racks in the dishwasher? If so, what happened? I'm lazy and would like to get my used dirty racks really clean.

Thanks in advance

Re: Washing racks

i have before. done it with paulson, chipco and the cheapy racks with no problems. always put them on the top rack of the dishwasher though. EDIT - even did it with those 25 X100 acrylic boxes.

if you have a drying cycle on your dishwasher just open up the door when the wash cycle is done and dump the extra water out of the racks then shut the door back and let it go through the dry cycle.

Re: Washing racks

If you have any tape residue, like the PNYs did. Run some Goo Gone over it to remove the sticky stuff first.

Take pics!

I have a hard time believing that you are lazy considering that you went through each and every single chip I sold you looking for perfection

Re: Washing racks

It worked like a charm, second load is in. Second load cleaned up great. Third load (last one) is in. All clean now.

Thanks
