On new years eve, we went to play poker at the house of one of my husband's golf buddies. The buddy asked us to bring cards, but said he had chips arranged.
I tossed a set of copags in my purse, and we went over. When I tossed the cards on the table, everyone there started oooing and ahing over the "fancy cards". My expectations for the chips were pretty low. Just then, his next door neighbour came in with a small case, and said he "thought he had some nice chips." My eyebrows went up, as I wasn't expecting much, and lo and behold, he opens up his case to reveal some paulsons hot stamped with his initials (!!!), in pristine condition. I said "Wow, I'm impressed - those are nice chips." He replied, "Yeah, I got them a few years ago before the Moneymaker boom. I think they're 11.5 grams."
