cigar & snifter & other sidepot questions

I have a few questions and comments after looking through sidepot.com's website...

1) The cigar & snifter mold - does sidepot own this or could you go through BCC to get this as i thought was possible? Sidepot's website makes it sound like they own the mold

2) While the website does not say, i assume their archetype ceramics are chipco chips. What is more interesting is the description of their custom "epiphany" ceramics, as being less quality than their "archetype"

Quoted from the website:
"Q. Are the Epiphany chips “casino-quality”? A. Not by our standards, and we know “casino-quality” pretty well as our primary business is selling chips by the same manufacturers that make chips for Las Vegas casinos today. The Epiphany’s are nice chips, but we consider them “2nd tier ceramics” as they are not carried in any major casinos today, nor would they be due primarily to durability (a higher propensity to chip than our Archetypes), print image clarity, and security issues. There are a few companies out there that sell ceramic chips of comparable quality to these Epiphany’s and deceivingly proclaim them to be “casino-quality”. We prefer to be more upfront and honest about the shortfalls of 2nd tier ceramics chips, but also point out that they represent a good value proposition given the considerable cost difference to customize."

These are interesting words, and an interesting sales approach as well. Wondering how others feel regarding this. Does anyone know what ceramic blank they use? Is the website shooting themselves in the foot or speaking the truth about their "2nd tier ceramics"??
