Many of you will be aware that Jim at thechiproom.com will be bringing out two new ranges of chips expect to compete with Nexgen in the low-price customisable chip market (

For those who aren't aware, we have the opportunity to have some input into the edge spot colors. The spot designs have been chosen (6A14 and 212) and some of the spot colors have been voted on already but there are still a bunch of base colors up for grabs. Jim has also offered a sample set to everyone whose color scheme for a chip wins the vote for that chip base color.
Note that I have no connection to Jim, other than having experienced excellent service from him in the past and participating in the voting myself. I have noticed, however, that voting has declined since it was moved to thechiproom.com's forum so wondered if everyone was aware of it. Having checked with the mods, I thought I'd post to let people know how they can get involved.
Make your color suggestions and vote on the options in the appropriate threads in
http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/thechiproom-com-offers/. With our help, this could be a great line of customisable chips made of the same material as the cheaper desert palms line but with new molds (and we've been promised cross-hatching so they should stack better!)
