Grey for $5K is usually a dead giveaway for someone from the East Coast . That's the New Jersey Gaming requirement for a $5K chip. How about Red for $5, that's pretty universal as well. I think NJ is the only state that mandates specific colors for specific values, I suppose one of the chip collectors would probably know for sure.

Just a question? Is there any reason why you would not use the standard colors for values: Green - $25; Black - $100; Purple - $500; Orange or Yellow - $1,000; & Grey - $5,000. Almost any color can be used for $10,000. Most people already know these colors and would have an easy time remembering the values.
