Sigh -- I'm not afraid: I've had to deal with telling a set of extremely Catholic parents that I managed to get their daughter pregnant, and that I have no intention of marrying (or even getting back together with) their youngest and most precious.

Seems to me that I'd prefer to deal with a bunch of East Texas rednecks -- at least the worse that'll happen is I get beat up some, instead of walking around with "the mark" around my neck...
