Not a prickish move at all; it is poker after all. Limp in UTG/UTG+1 with AA is somewhat standard at an aggressive NL table but at a fairly tight/passive table, it can be dangerous if no one reraises and 4 limpers see a flop. Personally, your min. reraise PF should have been a huge warning sign to the button. Personally, I think about it for a minute and then push PF depending on stack sizes and tournament position and say something about him trying to steal the blinds.
