Currently, my chips consist of 3 sets of Dice Composite chips from Wal-Mart. (Sad, I know.)
1600 Chips total
350 - White
300 - Blue
300 - Red
300 - Green
350 - Black
My friends and I are poor, so we play 1/2 cent no limit cash games. Whites are a penny, blue's 2 cents, red 5, green a quarter, and someday, the black dollar, lol. For tourneys (which seldomly involve any type of a buy-in), I've played around with many different structures and haven't found one I truly love. One of my favs for my 4-6 person tourneys would be a T5000, 40 Green 25's and 40 Black 100's. I just like having lotsa chips in play. Eventually I introduce White 500's, but it's a fun little tourney.
I've ordered 1000 Faux Clay chips which should be here within a week or so, and here's the breakdown:
200 - White
200 - Red
200 - Green
200 - Black
100 - Purple
100 - Blue
I haven't really thought about how I want to break these down for cash games or tourneys, but I just had to get some as they were so cheap!
Finally, I've been eye-balling the WSOP 2006 chips from Epokerdeals.com, and have been thinking very hard about the structure I want. I was thinking of a 300 Chip set (as I can't afford the 5000 chips I'd like, lol).
300 Chips total
100 - Yellow 1000's
100 - Lavender 5000's (I don't like the new 2006 5000's or 25000's)
50 - Black 10000's
50 - Beige 50000's
I figure I could start everyone with 10 yellows, 10 lavenders, and 4 blacks for a T100000. Enough yellow and lavenders for 10 initial buy-ins, and the beige could be used for rebuys and addons. By the end of a tourney there would only be black and beige on the table, with up to 3 million chips on the table. I just think it'd be really cool

!!!
Sorry for the long winded explanations on chips I don't have yet, but I just couldn't help myself!
