I think my preferences are cyclical to some extent. This is a good reason to have multiple sets of different types of chips. It wasn't too long ago that I got my first expensive set -- JB 2005s. There wasn't room enough for any other chips, these were so good. Now, I like to play occasionally with Chipcos, All-Ins, and even cheap plastic Unicorns. Mix things up.
