I went to usps.com and estimated shipping on a first-class envelope with insurance for $22,250. Insurance was $53.75

It says 'insurance not offered', so you could argue that this is a default setting and doesn't apply here. It blows me away that someone can sell something for over twenty-grand and is too tight to offer free shipping. If they seriously think that someone would pay $20k and be comfortable with no insurance, they're some of the dumbest people to ever operate on eBay and that's saying something. They do have 99.6% feedback with 1100 transactions.

I'm going to send the seller a question and ask about this item. I'll post an update, if I hear from them.
