| Re: My T10,000 Structure In my opinion and experience, you have way too many $25s in your starting stack. Once you color them up, you have lots of chips that just sit in their racks most of the night. It's a pain to manage big stacks of small chips. Most of the players use the $25s just for blinds and limps, so you only need 8 to start. Most of the betting tends to use the $100s once things get started. Now, your guys might like to push around big stacks of $25s, but we find it slows down the game to always be counting out lots of small chips.
So do you want that huge stack of 54 chips, or could you start with fewer?
Here's the most frugal T$10,000 stack -- you don't have to buy nearly as many chips, and/or you can get more players for your chip set.
8 x $25
13 x $100
7 x $500
5 x $1,000
33 chips each, a decent stack.
Or you could go for larger stack like this, but you have to have more chips for the same amount of players.
8 x $25
18 x $100
12 x $500
2 x $1,000
40 chips each. |
