In our games one guy exposes a card before he makes a call, trying to get info from the raiser. His cards don't move from in front of him so they never hit the muck or the center of the table. We play it as a legal move. The all in guy is giving a bit too much info, he's basically chasing away the caller, I'd think it's legal because it actually helps the caller if he can't beat the exposed card, it wouldn't hurt the caller at all.
