| Question to Floridians out there As I am about to move to Florida I decided to glance at the state laws pertaining to poker and I don't really like what I am seeing.
It appears it is illegal to own chips, tables, and/or to hold any type of game other than a penny-ante game which the state defines as any game where a player can win more than $10.00 per game, hand, and/or round.
Anyone care to share their experiences and/or knowledge of this? Do they allow Walmart to sell poker chips in Florida? Every Walmart I have been to in the last two years has been lousy with them, but none of them have been in Florida so I figure this is a pretty good litmus test - I Walmart won't sell something in Florida then you know it has to be illegal.
Thanks. This is gonna suck.
