I guess I just need to play more limit hold em. I've been playing a lot of pot limit, which of course is different. I just have a hard time concentrating when I read Sklansky/Miller. I tried to use the techniques that I had semi-learned in SSHE in a 2-4 six person game on PP and went through $50 in about 20 hands. Never won a pot, and started w/ great cards also, just got outdrawn. Oh well. just need to play it more I think.

I do find Jones a little more down to earth, but I'm probably not realizing the differences between the two books: beginner vs. THE BIBLE
