A good game we got from the internet that's proven to be a winner is 3-5-7
All players get 3 cards, 3's are wild. Guts style stand or drop.
If all drop, reante. If more than 1 player stands they compare hands (don't show anyone else) with loser matching pot and winner taking pot.
If only one player stands they get a leg/chit. When you get 3 chits (might do 2 instead of 3) you take the pot and the game ends.
Everyone gets 2 more cards (now you have 5), 5's are wild. Same guts stand/drop.
Everyone gets 2 more cards (now you have 7), 7's are wild. Same guts stand/drop.
Shuffle, deal 3 card hands, rinse, repeat. We also played $2 in - $2 out where it wasn't a pot matching game and instead you took a set amount from the pot and had to match a set amount.
Added rule - If a player ever gets a 3, 5, 7 in their hand of 3 they take the pot & the game is over. |
