You must show BOTH cards to win a pot. NO EXCEPTIONS. So, do, both players have to show? Not if you know that your not going to win, unless you were the last to bet, then you are the first to show.
So that someone doesn't pile on, there are rules that could be brought in where both players are required to show the cards. I thought in reading this question, that situation did not apply.
