All kinds of opions. Here are my opion. First it does not matter who the bettor or raiser was in the last round of betting. It is the last round that is important for showdown. If it is checked, then playerss should open their cards in order after the button. I have seen this so many times in casinos where beginners do not want to be the first to show and argue that the other player bet first in last round should show first but dealer always makes them show in order after the button.

If you show one card and everyone else mucks their card then you should win the pot because you are the last one left with live cards. Of course any other player have the right to demand to see both cards. Having said that, in any game I play I always ask to see both cards before I muck just to make sure he does not have SOOTED A's.
