Sorry man, but I MUST jump in on this one. If anyone soaks their clay chips for this long, good luck....and please make mention of the fact that you soaked a clay chip for 20 minutes or overnight before trying to sell them.

I keep seeing people who say they soak their chips and I'm sure glad they are your chips because that is really nuts!
At most, if you want to clean a chip, either do so lightly with something like sterling magic between your fingers, or if more inclined to wear down a chip, use a toothbrush with the same cleaner.
But this should only take a minute or so tops, then rinse and dry off immediately. Let sit overnight spread out to completely dry. If cleaning a chip with water, then it's probably good to very lightly oil them with mineral oil, wipe off, let sit again loose not stacked in trays, wipe again the next day then store.
