FWIW I went all over the map with my cash set:

214 - 3D14 - 6A14 - 4A14- 4D14

While the historical precedent is obvious and works for a lot of folk, imo too many people do standard colors with the usual simple to complex progression. At one point I thought about making my biggest chip ($100) the simples since I rarely actually use it. My $5 is the workhorse and the most visually complex.
