[edit: just realised this thread should have been in the "Gallery" forum...]
Dear Fellow Chiptalkers,
Since you are all pretty much responsible for my getting engrossed in custom chips, I think it is fair that I should submit my first attempt at designing a set on the very forum that got it all started for me.
The inspiration for the colors is the Palmas series, but I use the H-mold instead of the HH. Originally I wanted to go 214 - 314 - 414 - 514 (or in fact ideally 314 - 414 - 514 - 614 with the chips below), but since 514 (or 614) doesn't seem to be available right now

, I think it is better to stick to full 414 for coherence's sake. Another reason for this is I'm afraid the 214 doesn't look as good in stacks. Dual edges are nice but they're more difficult to match in a complete set and they are too expensive for my budget.
With the ASM price at 1$ per chip, it keeps the whole budget in the 500$ range, which is the maximum I can afford.
The inlay is my family name and our new house. I am glad it all fits in well with the H-mold

.
Since we're renovating the house right now and moving in at the end of the year, I was wondering whether it would be appropriate to add something like "est. 2006" or the name of the town somewhere on the inlay, but I want it to be legible and not too crowded so I don't know. I also mean the chips to be a souvenir for the kids of the place where they grew up.
The fonts are Plantagenet Cherokee regular for the numbers and Copperplate light for the Name (I want the H to look like chimneys).
I don't want any currency because I want the set to remain as versatile as possible, and I live in Europe so dollars wouldn't be really appropriate anyway, and methinks euros wouldn't match with the ASM style.
It would be mainly for family and friendly games, and the occasional 6-8 people tournament. I plan to go with high denominations. The green 25 would be for early level blinds and the workhorse would be the black 100, since my games will have a lot of newbies at first and betting in multiples of 100 is easier. 500 and 2000 are just to accomodate rebuys or the unlikely numerous tournament, but mainly they're meant to look nice in the racks

.

80 x 500T [H-mold 414 Lavender / DG Yellow]
20 x 2000T [H-mold 414 Orange / Blue] {edit : changed that to 100 x NCV - on
