I thought about doing the masking tape thing. There is a local charity that has obtained permission to run a large tournament. They asked me to look into getting cheap customs for them. I was going to suggest hotstamped diamonds but I think almost everyone I have run into prefers edge spots on chips. It's too bad they don't make diamonds with edgespots but that would add to their cost as well.
Anyway, I am not all that thrilled with the idea of painting edge spots on 4000 diamonds, but I don't really want them to get those clunky 11.5 dice or suited chips. I've been to all of the major resellers so now I am off to find the best deal on a huge quantity of cheap hot stamped chips for them.
