With Gabe's breakdown, each player would only have enough $1 chips to complete a single small blind before they needed to make change (unless they win a pot in the meantime..)
You'd also have $5K in $25 chips and another $5K in $100 chips. That's probably more than you need. So I'd suggest a tweak, maybe to something like:

100 x $1
300 x $5
150 x $25
50 x $100
