I've been stewing in this for quite sometime myself. I didn't buy these chips to resell or to play with. I got them to collect. I have 200 of each and 120 1000s.

I have been thinking of selling 1000 of them and basically getting my half for free. I'll need to post it soon, because I too think that the prices will peter out to a more sensible amount. There are a lot of set builders running around now trying to fill in their collections. I am one of them, I was looking for 100 or each of the 1000s.

Thats when things went to hell. I was willing to go to 5 maybe 6 per. Then someone went to 8 and then 10 per. Then I was going at $10 per, thats when I thought I needed to have my head examined. As I was about to click send, my offer was terminiated, because they were getting MUCH more on ebay. Next thing I knew I was springing for $280 for 10!

I have given up trying to collect them all now. So, I'll wait for the price to drop, or the market to explode and reminisce about the time they couldda been had for 50 bucks a piece...
