| Re: Do you ever have 11 players at a table? Would it work? I've kind of changed my mind on this. I used to routinely get 11 players and it would drive me nuts, but we played at 1 table. Makes for a very slow and generally very tight game, but I always used to feel that it was more fair than having tables of 6 and 5. Now if it happens again, I think I'll go with 2 tables. The main argument against is that the table of 5 gets hit with the blinds more often. Generally though, you're at pretty low blind levels, so this isn't as big of a deal I don't think.
It comes down to personal preference and whatever space you can handle. A better player shouldn't care whether he's at a table 3 or a table of 13. He should be able to adjust to the conditions. But in general, with more and more people at the table, your hand requirements have to go way up. |
