| Protégé Stage 2B - Color Submissions! - Submit your colors/spots here. Let's get some Color/Spot Submissions rolling in! (Use this thread to submit schemes, but keep discussions in the "Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions" thread.)
It looks like we're getting the hang of using the ChipTalk Factory to do some mockups. I think we're ready to do some formal submissions of colors/edge spots. Once we get quite a few, we'll run a poll to narrow down the options. Here are the "rules" for submissions. Try to stick to them as close as possible. Basically we want to make everything equal among all submissions, except for the colors and spots. - Anyone can submit a color/spot scheme. This is an informal stage, and has nothing to do with contest entries. No one can "win" anything at this stage, except maybe you get to be the guy that picked the colors of this set.
- Use the Sidepot ChipTalk Factory to do your mockups.
- Use exactly 8 chips in your submission. No more, no less.
- Load the "House" sample inlay onto your chips, using the standard round inlay. No shaped inlays please, we want to focus on colors here.
- Although there are no "numbers" on our sample inlay, remember that the set is required to have 25 cent, $1, $5, $25, $100, $500, $1000, and $5000. Make you eight mockups follow this scheme. Any chips over 8 will be a bonus decided on later.
- Your $1, $5, $25, and $100 chips will be required to roughly follow casino color precedents of blue/white, red, green, and black, respectively.
- Utilize the "View All" feature of the Factory, and save that application image only. Use the Imageshack QuickShot v1.5 tool for the quickest and easiest method of getting your submission posted. More about that here.
- IMPORTANT: After you post your color set, you must get TWO (2) Votes to get your color scheme into the Polls! A vote is made public ally, something like someone quoting your message and saying "I like this one" or "I second that!" or "I'll vote this one in!" Any member can vote, and a member can vote for multiple schemes. You cannot vote for your own scheme.
- One submission per member.
- Dealine to be announced.
Here is an example of what one submission would look like:
