| Re: Chip Cleaning Machine - Need engineers and tinkerers One thing you could do is line up a bunch of chips and build a little box around them, like a piece of plywood with rails around the edge. Then buy a solenoid (back and forth instead of around like a motor), attach an arm to it, then your magic eraser to the arm. Solenoid does the work, but you have to hold the tool.
Another option would be to put multiple magic erasers in the box. Duplicate it. Sandwich the chips between the 2 boxes of magic erasers. Then use solenoids (probably need ~4 each box) on the boxes, moving the erasers back and forth.
