I played in a 60-person tournament on Saturday night and finished 13th (not bad, not great), but the hand I busted out on was amazing. I raise preflop to $4800 (BB was 1200) and get two callers...not exactly what I was hoping for with pocket 66, but I was getting short-stacked, wasn't catching many hands, and needed to make a move.

Flop comes 6 7 8 rainbow. I'm thinking woo-hoo, caught trips and the chances of someone catching a straight have got to be pretty low as I put my two callers on high pairs or Ax something like that. I throw in my remaining $1k, the next guy raises all-in to $15k+ (tournament amount of course, not real $). The second of my original callers is pondering another call of the $15k and says he can't lay down what he has and makes the call. We all start flipping over cards, and the last caller to my right flips over 55 for trip 5s, i flip my 66 for trip 6s, and the guy to my left (all-in for $15k) flips over 77 for trip 7s. Turn and river were blanks for everyone. Definitely the craziest hand I've seen in a while. -m
