home micro cash setups?

i have been searching threads for home micro-limit setups...
mainly for cash games and really cheapo real money tournaments

a) just use real coins?..nah..i live here why would i do that..

b) how would you do your set up..nickles? dimes? quarters? .50? 1.00? to make a versatile yet USEFULL 5-10 person cash set up...for limit and nolimit cash games (all types incluing stud and omaha)...

personally i was gonna do a 500 peice set up with 0.25/0.50/1.00 chips but was curious if anyone here ever did a smaller set-up

is anyone even using nickles and dimes anyway, i know some of us play micro limits online...i wonder is some of my "cheapie" friends would be more willing to play more often if we played less "cash" stakes
