Hi all,
Recently started playing poker and now I am looking for chips.
I got the samples from marlowcasinochips and pokershop.dk (BTW both great customer support) and I am somewhat confused by the composition and price of the chips I got.
From pokershop I like the "clay" model (poker, tournament design) which has a good sound and weight, but the feel is somewhat slippery (going to refer to them as "CLAY.DK").
Marlow claims to have supperior non-injection only chips. Ok, no clue what that means

.
The chipco ceramic ones sound too much metallic/hard to me so I dont like those. Although the price is like 4x the CLAY.DK?
The R&T ones feel slippery too and quite expensive like the ceramic. So I dont see the advantage over CLAY.DK.
Then the clay from MArlow, like KeyWest and Paulson on the other I like quite alot, as they have a good sound and the edges are kind of rough. Although the price of those are comparable to the ceramic and other models from Marlow.
Anyone can please shed some light on this and provide some more info on the quality of the chips I got under review.
In conclusion, the "clay" ones from Marlow clearly seem the best to me, but the price is too much for a first. The other types on the other hand from Marlow are really comparably in quality (to me) to the low price CLAY.DK, while still being quite expensive.
Still confused...
Also, I like the design of the NJ skulls alot, but I dont have a sample. Which of the ones I have matches the closest to the NJ?
Thanks all,
Al.
