The "rule of thumb" for SnG is like 20 buyins for a given level. You are shy of this for even the $5 level - so I would recommend that you be very careful even at your current levels.
Building a decent bankroll cen be a slow process. I know that it is frustrating at first to see how little it actually goes up even though are winning - but this should be the most conservative portion of your game. hhmmmmmm - sounds like an artice submission, -- JoJo???? |
Thanks for your thoughts on this w16227
Tried my hand at another $5.00 SnG and placed 1st for $22 so the huge bankroll is now up to $60 ish lost a $2 and a $3 after that. I think your right about sticking to the levels lower then $5, and I will try my best to do stay at those levels.
I diffenately do not think I am the best at the tables I sit at just maybe the most patient right now, and almost always need 1 semi-suckout each time.
I think the patience helps me pick up the blinds in the later rounds when they are high compared to chip stacks. Which keeps me in there until my down cards give me something to actually go after others chips.
Should I bother writing any of this down here? Is this helpful to anyone, or even me.
What is everyones strategy in these low stake SnG's? I know most of you play ring games online at higher stakes, but for the people that play at $1-$5 SnG's do you try and stick to a strategy?
