For one thing they are unique. For another, it's nice to see someone else's color schemes, designs, etc. Plus, sharing samples, trading chips, etc is a great thing about this board that lends to its fun and success.

I much rather have a sample with many of the inlays you see here than one with a crown or an eagle or even plain. Also, many were brought here for ideas/improvements so you have that tie also... need more chips is kind of a mantra around here
