Don't know how big your games are but I think you will be better off with fewer denominations and more of each denomination. Also, part of the appeal of WSOP chips is having the feeling of a big stack, like they do on TV there. My suggestion would be this (without knowing how many players in your tournaments):

25 yellow $1,000 = $25,000
15 lavender $5,000 = $75,000
15 black $10,000 = $150,000
5 beige $50,000 = $250,000

That is 60 chips worth $500,000. You would need 250 yellow, 225 lavender, 225 black, and 50 beige. Then I would start the blinds off at 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante. Here is the WSOP blind schedule.
