Trying to figure out how to make it OK to leave the wife with three kids 4 and under... it takes some work, planning, and lots of brownie points...

Anyone else not signed up yet but might be able to attend? Post here so we can follow your trials and tribulations.

Well, Josh......hope you can make it! Maybe work out a compromise with your wife - in exchange for 2-3 days at LSRII, she'll get a week-end retreat (or something comparable) while you watch the Kiddos?

Hey Josh. Pretty close to my predicament except it's mainly demands of my new job that are preventing me from committing. General economic condierations are a secondary, but not trivial concern. I really want to make it.

I have registered but with some of the recent activity (number of confirmeds are dropping) I have moved onto the fence. I had expected a large turnout so the opportunity to meet a bunch of people made it easy for me to justify the sacrifices; now that it is dropping below 20 it doesn't make as much sense for me.

Well, I am going. Even though it is not as attractive as it was a few months ago, the bottom line is I said I was going and would feel pretty bad to drop out now.

Of course, it made the decision easier knowing I would still get to meet a few new faces, as well as interact with a couple familiar ones. And regardless of how many people show up it should still be a FANTASTIC event and I am looking forward to it. I don't get to play a lot of live poker either so no matter what happens I am going to enjoy myself next weekend.
