| My poker playing weekend in Vegas. While playing in a casino tourney recently, I encountered my worst run of cards. My question is, when the cards are not coming your way, do you change your strategy or stick to your normal style of betting? I would say that I am a pretty tight player. Should I start to open up my range of hands played when the cards are not coming my way? The only reason why I lasted that long (2 hours) was that my hands were soooo bad that I only was able to see the flop about 6 times total. I was getting blinded out the whole way.
Here is pretty much the cards I had in the tournament:
2 pocket pairs (2-2, Q-Q)
2 pocket picture cards (K-J, K-10)
Highest card with an Ace (A-7)
Times with a 10-9 (never)
Times with a J-9, Q-9, K-9 (2x?)
