| Question about the effects of cold on NJ Skulls OK, I know this is a stupid question, but please bare with me for a sec, it does have a purpose, and I really need to know the answer.
We all know (since they were 'tested' )that extreme heat does obviously cause issues with some chips.
This however is not extreme cold i am asking about, simply a normal winter's night here in Calgary. (Although sometimes it's gets to -40F)
The reason i am asking about cold, is here in the Great White North (Calgary, Alberta), sometimes a game is played, and then you go out after the game for a few drinks.
During this time (especially if you get a cab home afterwards) your chips could be in your trunk for upwards of 12-15 hours with a steady temperature of say 22-28 degrees F (just below freezing). Let's say leaving them inside of a car instead of a trunk is not an option, even though the temperature should be the same after a while anyways.
Leaving them at the place you played is not an option.. I am really asking if the temperature has an effect.
Now I realize this is not optimal care, but would damage occur? In specific to ceramic NJ Skulls.
I know if I left my pool cue in that same trunk, it would warp like a hockey stick, but obviously that is apples to oranges.
Thanks in advance. |
