If you're cash game is going to strictly be folks who but out of the tourney looking for something to do, two colors, three tops. Some variation on .25/.50 NL or 1/2 limit are good. If it's the former get a bunch of .25 chips if it's the later, a bunch of $1 and a few $5.

If it's going to be a regularly occurring ring game for around 10 folks the normal 200/200/50/50 chip break down will cover about everything you need and give you some room for growth.
