So last night the wife and I are playing a little "adult" heads-up NLHE, not for money, but with chips while having cocktails. The game stakes were; when one took all the others chips (we only started with like 20 chips each) the winner got to ask a "truth or dare" of the other, then we divided the chips back up and started again.
I'm WAY short stacked with about 8 chips left and get dealt:
on the button.
The blinds are 1 chip for the SB and 2 chips for the BB.
She calls the BB and I push all in. (my 6 remaining chips, lol)
She calls and flips over:
Good call, I think to myself, but I'm ahead.
So we set out the flop:
Right on, I'm all set to double up with trip Queens!
The turn comes:
Ruh Roh, deep inside my mind does its best Scooby Doo voice...
Just no Jack or Diamond and I'm good to go...
She's already counting what's left of her chips.
Then the river....
Not just a Jack, not just a diamond, but:
Needless to say, she got all my chips that hand, and I took a lap around the front of the house wearing only my sandals for that beat!
