NJ and chipco are not the same chip.
Even if it wasn't for the fact that mspatton (a highly reputable chip vendor) said so a couple of appends above, I have a chipco chip and an NJ chip in my hands now, and I can tell you that they are entirely different. Other that the fact that they are both round and ceramic (as opposed to compressed clay) there is nothing similar about them whatsoever.
If its so important to get an answer that you feel you can definitely trust, you should really approach NJ and chipco directly.
