Re: Split Pot
anytime two or more people in a hand hold the same winning hand..
ie:
both hold the same high card where the best kickers are on the board:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same pair w/ a kicker that can't beat the board:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same 2 pair w/ a kicker that can't beat the board:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same trips w/ a kicker that can't beat the board:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same straight:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same flush:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same full house:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
both hold the same quads, same kicker:
player 1:
player 2:
flop:
split the pot
also if a straight/royal flush appears on the board or anytime the board is the best hand, the pot is split. these are just some examples, hope they help...
