Another ebay ripoff 'Bud Jones Paulsons'

http://cgi.ebay.com/ACTUAL-CASINO-PL...QQcmdZViewItem

Who knew there was such a thing as 'Bud Jones Paulson' chips? Must be a new hybrid. I love this part:

We compared these to other Paulson's, and they are of the exact elite quality
Even though they are nothing like a paulson chip.

Too bad they're neither Bud Jones or Paulsons nor was there ever a Royal Kings Club casino in Vegas. They could be Matsuis. These chips have been scammed a couple of times on eBay with similar misrepresentation. Don't know if it's the same person or not though.

Besides, the Nevada Gaming Commission also requires that the state be included on the chip, not just the city.

Yeah, this idiot has changed his eBay ID. He's been selling this same stuff for a while. He's been told they are defnitely NOT Bud Jones. And they are absolutely NOT from a real casino. He's been told this, too.

They are a mystery chip, though. They are better than the recent Chinese coin inlays, and almost feel like Matsuis (but they're not).

At first glance they certainly look like Matsui. No close-ups to see tho....

I reported him for keyword spamming so we'll see if ebay does anything.

Thumbs up Re: Another ebay ripoff 'Bud Jones Paulsons'

I picked up a sample of 20 chips from this ebayer months ago to see the quality, I think he charged $15 for them. They are definetly not quality chips, nowhere near the Matsui or Bud Jones coin inlays. I destroyed one with a hammer to see what the compostion was. The metal center popped out pretty easily, and it appeared that there was the same colored plastic material between the metal insert as the rest of the chip is, meaning it is not an insert at all. So I hit that with a hammer twice and sure enough it is two metal pieces glued to the plastic.....

Definetly poor qaulity, and not worth anywhere near the price. Just sorry I wasted $15 to find out, but better than wasting $300.

Re: Another ebay ripoff 'Bud Jones Paulsons'

Sounds like a scammer trying to pass off Chinese imports. Odd that this chip hasn't made it to the seconds market of chips that are sold on various community boards and out of the trunks of cars. At least no one has tried to pass off the Jackpot Casino coin insert chips as being real (and there really was a Jackpot Casino in Vegas about 30 years ago).

If I had the choice between dice and these, I would chose these, but not at 10 times the cost that they are. The advertising of them is definetly shaky.

Anyone else have any chips I can hit with a hammer..... Good anger management therapy.....

Yeah, the ones at your local casino. Just tell them I said it was okay . But don't swing the hammer around wildly before hand, they might get the wrong idea.
