106500 Pearl Synthetic Silk Self Adhesive

Ripped sheets has this material. 106500 Pearl Synthetic Silk Self Adhesive. They recommend this for poker chips. This is what they have to say about this material. Laser Pearl Synthetic Silk Self Adhesive is an embossed pearlescent conformable latex based material designed to provide fabric like appearance with excellent laser toner anchorage. It's used for high quality labels and premium laser printed name badges. Adhesive is rubber based permanent with excellent adhesion to PP, PE and other low energy surfaces

It is supposed to look like fabric and printed on a laser printer. Does anyone have any experience with this material? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Throw a 1" one of these on a Paulson JB...that'd be sweet.

I assume that you talked to them to get this recomendation? Jason E. (Cin0s3) just went through the second GB for rippedsheet labels, but he used a different material, 102550 Outdoor Indoor White Polyester Perm. I can say that the 102550 material is excellent (very thin) but I do not know how that would compare to the 106550 stuff. I will say that the 106500 is about half the cost of the other, as I believe the price for the 102550 was $3.02/sheet for a 100 sheet order. There may also be a charge for setting up the diecuts the first time, but I don't know for sure. I am sure that Cin0s3 could explain better than me. You can find some posts from him for sure in the chip labeling forum, then you could PM him if you wanted. Let us know what you find out, it would be good to know if there is an alternative to what we ave been using.

Re: 106500 Pearl Synthetic Silk Self Adhesive

I bought the thinnest material that I could get, for the intended purpose (ASM HH's) the thinner the better to avoid spinners.
