edit: hold the presses! I'm going to sell the OLD thickness and buy myself some NEW thickness... everyone wins. This is a good opportunity for someone with "old" thickness desert sands chips to flesh out thier set and I'll actually get the set I wanted in the first place.

That's what I'm trying to replace. If you don't have the "old" ones, you're not going to be interested. Those people can make an offer.
I thought they were $199 + ship. Are they having a sale right now?

They've had this perpetual sale for quite some time at 179. http://www.nevadajacks.net/mall/special.htm
The've since changed it to a wooden case from the vinyl case, making it a little more appealing.
Some folks here took advantage of a group buy modification of NJ's promo offer back in March and got 500 piece sets for $225 or a net cost of 45¢ per chip if you didn't count the case and other stuff. NJs also had a couple of other offers during that time-frame, I don't remember the details but there was at least one 2 for 1 offer and another one for a free 300 pc set if you bought a 500 pc set. That is a great offer - if I had any possible use for these I would be all over them. Somebody needs to snap this up because I will drive myself nuts as long as it is available. I DON'T NEED THEM, BUT A DEAL THIS GOOD MAKES ME WANT THEM.
