Experiment over, I did 24 of my $25 chips for 5 minutes. I didn't like the sound of the experiment, I was afraid I'd end up with a handful of pieces so I cut it to 5 minutes. You can see very minor dings in the edges and a few scuffs on the face, you can make the same scuffs by just rubbing the edge of a chip on another without much pressure. Had I let it go for 20 minutes I believe I would have seen some edge damage and not the effect I was looking for.
Maybe in a slower turn in a more padded environment, I was just looking to take the sharpness away not round them over, the kind of effect you get from shuffling for an hour or two.
On a seperate note, I've got 2 digital cameras, one 2.1 megapixel and another 5.0. How do you take close ups? I can't get either one to fucus close up.
