Those cards define the axiom "form over function."

They are cool looking, but I don't remember ever needing or wanting playing cards that were "cool looking" instead of wanting them "easily identifiable."

For the same reason I think that red chips should be $5, green $25, & black $100, etc. I also think that cards should have white faces with black spades and clubs and red hearts and diamonds.

Call me old school, but I'm guessing there is a reason why some things don't change much over time. Not because I don't believe that "different can be better" but because some things don't need to change.

I agree about the chips but the card thing

I think I would. They are clear enough that you wouldn't confuse one card for another. That's good enough for me.

I kinda like the design, actually. The face cards are a little less that desired but not bad enough to say no.

I voted yes, ... But I do not like the Black background. I like the design but go for white. You might also be able to use both a black and a white background on the card backs too.

No. No. NO.

Poker cards are white. These are not.
Poker decks have either two or four colors for the different suits. If I'm right about this, these have one.

Not for poker. I might take a deck to a Magic tourney for use as tokens, but beyond that, nope.

Is there any way we can "encourage" Copag to give us plastic four color decks?

If I can read the pip in corner I would play with them but not buy them. I like the SUPER MAGNUM suit indicator.

I like these and dig the black color. The non-symmetrical diamonds on the card faces bug me, though. The other suits look much better. It would also be a much better deck if it had a better design on the back of the card. Pretty boring as is.
