===**UPDATED**===oleander13's ASM Neon Mockups

Hey guys, another boring topic about my quest for my first custom set.

With many thanks to fins and phatlad for help designing these in photoshop, here's the most recent rendition of my chips. I had an idea of doing the heart and diamond suit in red neon, but haven't got around to it yet. Here are the white suits only. Let me know what you think.

$5 Imperial Blue/Dayglo Yellow

$25 Light Green/Dayglo Peach

$100 Black/Blue

$500 Lavender/Light Green

================================================== ================================================== =========================================
EDIT:

New Mockups below...Added another denom and changed some colors around....Decided against using the joker for the background because it was just too much, so I just came up with something else. Going with 1000 chips now, still need help on a breakdown scheme. I was thinking 250/350/250/100/50 but I need some input from you guys. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

$1 Imperial Blue / Dayglo Yellow

$5 Mandarin Red / Arc Yellow

$25 Green / Dayglo Pink

$100 Black / Blue

$500 Lavender / Light Green

I'm sure the boys and girls at ASM can center those a lot better than I can and maximize the area of the graphics in the label.

Let me know how they're looking.

Very nice, I liked your design before, but they look even better integrated into full mockups. Can't wait to see pictures of the final product.

I dig the 100 and 500 - very nice. There's something about the colors on the 5 and 25 though that just don't work for me. I wish I could offer better feedback, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Very nice, now that you have it on the chips. I especially like matching denom to the edge spot.

Man, those are sharp!

Stay with the white neon suits. There more than likely will be a white ring around your black background anyway, from my understand from everyone who has dealt with pc.com. (I may be wrong; someone correct me if I am). With the white ring, the white neon will tie in together better, IMO.

this is one of viet rounder customs, to show you an example of the white ring around the black logo.

Your $5 chip is absolutely beautiful.

The only thing that bugs me is the heart being cut off.

Other than that, they're gorgeous. (And if you're OK with the heart, that's all that matters anyway).

I can probably size the heart down a bit and then put all the neon effects in. I'll try that later because I'm not real fond of chopping off the edges.

I agree on trying to get the heart smaller. That is the only thing I would change. They look great, nice job!

What's everyone's opinion on making all the suit backgrounds as the club. Everyone I've talked to seems to like the club design the best. This would also give me more flexibility for adding more colors and denoms later. What do you guys think?

Just notice something. I know this is about the graphics and not the chip but on your black, you have blue edge spots. I think that is a bad combination as it will be hard to see the edge spot especially in dim light.
