I shipped out some chips I sold on ebay this weekend. I went to my local UPS store and the guy at the counter asked me some questions, when he found out they were poker chips he gave me a little info on the dangers of sending packages internationally. According to Mr. UPS guy, the sender has to pay all the fees/taxes when sending and the receiver can deny the package and the package is then re-sent back to the sender at his cost. It appears that there is a bit more risk and money up front to ship internationally and I think that most folks just don't want to deal with any kind of hassles.
On another note, after my ebay auction I got an e-mail from a guy that wanted me to do a 5000 count custom labeled chip set. I'm not a chip resaler, just an ordinary joe, but I gave him some pricing, hey if I can make a grand or two why not. Anyone know of any reasons not to do it? I'd only do it with up front money of course(I don't need 5000 chips sitting in my house, I think that would definitley send my wife over the edge)
