I'd be a bit leary of the second one. Mine is MDF, and they're claiming solid mahgony, But mine wasn't anywhere near that expensive either.

Its got a very deep red look so it looks more like wood than the 500 case imo. I'm pretty sure its not solid either since I only paid $75 total for mine shipped off ebay. Both links seem to be for the same case though.

I'm almost positive the one I have (gambler) is lacquered MDF. The laquer is a very dark brown- almost ebony color.
Real mahogany is much lighter.
