I'm putting together a large but cheap chip set for our ever expanding tournaments.
I have a 1000 set of labeled NexGens but the numbers are just not cutting it. I need more chips, but I'm sick of sticking on labels, and as the numbers go up the cost keeps climbing too.
So I ordered some Super Diamonds and Faux Clay Dice samples the other day, and I actually think I like the Diamonds better. I just have a real hard time with the dice around the edge of the Faux's.
I thought that these chips with a custom hotstamp like this:
Would actually (other than chip composition and price) have a close to a casino look and feel, at a fraction of the cost of Paulsons or ASM's.
The objective is to have a set of 1500-3000 chips with custom hotstamps on them at a price where I won't freak out (like even my NexGen's do) if a few of them disappear over time.
5Star and discountcasinogear offer them with hotstamping, for pretty good prices, but not custom logos. vegassuppliesandgifts offers custom but is by far the most expensive. I could swear that 5Star USED to offer custom hotstamping for like an $80 set-up fee.
Anyone have any experience with getting custom hotstamped chips and would like to share their knowledge or experiences with me?
Thank you!
