in BB, only me and him are in the pot, so I raise to $2. He re-raises me up to $10, and from his play, it seems like he is trying to steal my raise, so I defend with a raise back to $30 total. He pushes back by raising all-in, and I make an easy call. Cards flip over, and it is my A

I don't usually like them myself, but I was just so damn mad. That is the worst hand I've ever had Aces cracked by, and it was for all my chips. I was over 86% to win preflop, and 95% to win on the flop.

Try to find that same player (couln't tell if it was live or online) and play with him/her again because it sounds like someone you want to be playing with. Get him in the same situation and this time the big hand will more than likely hold up.

I have a guy at my regular game that plays the same "lose and reckless" type of poker. He is good for my game because for every bad beat he sucks out of me, I get ten solid wins from him. He also forces me to play a relatively tight game which helps me play with a more "sound" strategy. Still sucks that you got beat like that.

Very similar to a bad beat I had at a .25/.50NL table too. I got the pocket AA and made a pretty good sized raise, one other guy called. Flop came a bunch of rainbow bricks, one was a 6. Made another good size bet, he called, turn came another 6 with another good bet & call, river came a 3rd 6 so I've got 6s full of aces. I bet big again and he pushes all in and I eventually called and he shows 3 6 off. Are you f'ing kidding me?!?

Dude, I lost Aces full to a Quad of 4s. I raised, he re-raised from the button, I called. I flopped Aces full on the flop, checked to the guy, who went all in. Naturally I call to find myself drawing dead against quads - since one guy announced he folded an Ace. I lost $100 (buy-in) on the first hand.

Bad beats happen all the time, as long as you played the cards like you should have dont worry about it.

I have seen people at my home games loose quad 7's to quad 8's what are the odds on that but it happens.

Like they say a poker playeris only as good as he handles the bad beats.

That is the kind of players I want to be against with all the time. Can you imagine how much you would make off him in the long run. Consider it a temporary deposit.
